We appreciate you choosing to buy your equipment and parts from American Airless and we also want to make the return process as easy as possible. Please read our policies below regarding returns and refunds.

Unopened Item Returns

All items purchased from American Airless that are unopened can be returned within 30 days of purchase by calling us at 770-477-1337 or by emailing us at returns@americanairlessonline.com, to receive an Return Authorization Number (RMA).  The customer will be responsible for the return shipping and a 20% restocking fee (exceptions apply).

If you are returning unopened product ordered in error by the customer

  1.  If for some reason you ordered the wrong part for your equipment please contact us within 1 day of receiving your order.  You can call us at 770-477-1337 or email us at returns@americanairlessonline.com to get an RMA number and the address where to send the part back.
  2. When you contact us please have the following information available:  Sales Receipt Number, your phone number, your part number, the quantity you are returning and the reason you are returning the item(s).
  3. When shipping the item back please make sure that the item is in resellable condition. It must be in the mfg. packaging unopened (if sent to you that way).  Also make sure that you package the item well so that no damage is incurred when returning- make sure that there is sufficient packing paper so that the parts do not move freely in the box or envelope.
  4. Once we receive the item we will process the return within 24-48 hours. The parts will be inspected and entered back into inventory.  Please make sure that you follow step 2 so that we can contact you if necessary.  Any step not followed may delay the refund process.
  5. We do not keep your credit card information on file so if you paid by credit card we will be contacting you to get that information.  Credit will be issued back to the original card for up to 30 days from date of purchase.
  6. If the date of purchase is longer than 30 days we will issue you a store credit.

If you are returning unopened product and the error was made by American Airless

  1. If for some reason we shipped the wrong part for your equipment please contact us within 1 day of receiving your order.  You can call us at 770-477-1337 or email us at returns@americanairlessonline.com to get an RMA number.
  2. When you contact us please have the following information available:  Sales Receipt Number, your phone number, your part number, the quantity you are returning and the reason you are returning the item(s).  We will also request that you either text or email us a picture with a copy of the sales receipt and the part together.
  3. In the case of an error caused by us we will pay all freight.  With the RMA number we will also fax or email you a label to get the product back to us.  In some cases we will send you the correct replacement item along with a return label.
  4. When shipping the item back please make sure that the item is in resellable condition. It must be in the mfg. packaging unopened (if sent to you that way).  Also make sure that you package the item well so that no damage is incurred when returning- make sure that there is sufficient packing paper so that the parts do not move freely in the box or envelope.
Merchandise Damaged During Shipping

Most of our parts are shipping using USPS, FedEx or UPS.  Larger or heavier items by truck lines. If you receive package and it is damaged in shipping.

  1. When the package arrives and there are signs of damage tell the delivery driver that you want to refuse the package.  Do not sign for the package!  If you do sign you are saying that you received the package in good condition with no damages.
  2. The exception may be with the USPS. We have had packages delivered that were damaged and still delivered to the mail box.  In that case please contact us and the your local post office. Always take a picture of the damaged package and product so that we can open a case with the USPS.
  3. If you have a damaged item that has been shipped via truck lines must refuse the item and get the driver make a note in their system. Also get a picture and make notes of the extent of damage so that we can forward these pictures when we open a case.
  4. Once an item is refused contact us at 770-477-1337 or email us at returns@americanairlessonline.com so that we replace the damaged item.
Defective Products

Out of the hundreds of thousands of parts we have sold over the years there are times when an item is defective. If that is the case please let us know immediately.

  1. We do realize that some customers buy product months in advance of using it so each case will be handled differently.
  2. If you buy an electronic part such as a board most mfgs. will not give a credit unless that item is sent back to the mfg and tested for defects.
  3. Please call us if you need technical support before sending the item back.  In the past we have received parts back and tested them in our shop and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the part.  Someone had misdiagnosed the problem.  In that case we will send the item back to you.  Calling us with your questions may alleviate some of your headaches.
  4. Also, all the items we sell carry a manufacturer’s warranty and are subject to that warranty.  Parts can be sent back to us for inspection or inspected by an authorized dealer.  Most warranties repair or replace a part that is defective in material quality or workmanship.  That does not mean that the mfg. will refund your money for the part but that they will repair it or replace it depending on the situation. Labor is not necessarily covered under that warranty so please check with us or the mfg before proceeding.
  5. If your item is defective contact us at 770-477-1337 or email us at returns@americanairlessonline.com and we will supply you with an RMA number and a return label. Once received we will inspect the part and send you a replacement immediately.
Custom Orders

Custom orders are items that are specifically made to your specifications.  For example, if you request paint sprayer or pressure washer hoses to be made at 75 foot lengths and you decide that you no longer want them then they are non-returnable.  If it is an item that has to be specifically made for you then the mfg will not accept a return and neither will we.
